Adult Softball
The Sun Prairie Parks, Recreation, and Forestry Department offers Adult Softball Leagues designed for both recreational and competitive players. Whether you're a seasoned athlete or just looking for some fun with friends, our leagues provide a great way to stay active and enjoy the camaraderie of team sports.
League Information
All participants are expected to follow the Adult Softball Rules and Regulations. It is important for team managers to ensure their players are familiar with the rules prior to the start of the season. These rules govern everything from player conduct to game play, safety regulations, and field conditions. Please note: This is a self-officiated league. An on-site supervisor and scorekeeper will be scheduled for each game.
We also have specific guidelines regarding the rescheduling of games in case of cancellations. If a full night of games is rained out, the games will be made up at the regularly scheduled times, or potentially on Monday nights.

Schedules & Standings
Stay up to date with your team’s schedule and track standings throughout the season! We’ve made it easy for you to view both through our shared Google Drive document, which is updated regularly to reflect any changes.
Playoff Structure
At the end of the regular season, the top four teams will advance to the playoffs. The playoff format is a single-elimination tournament where:
- Game 1: Team 1 plays Team 4
- Game 2: Team 2 plays Team 3
The winners of these games will advance to the Championship Game, where the final two teams will compete for the title of league champion.
Weather Cancellations
For the latest updates on game cancellations due to weather, we use Statusfy as our primary communication tool. We highly recommend you download and sign up for Statusfy to receive real-time push notifications or messages. Statusfy is available on mobile devices, and you can also access it from a computer. If one game is canceled for weather, all games for the remainder of the night will be canceled as well, regardless of any improvements in conditions.
